My review
I found "Cocktails and Mock-Tales" a light and refreshing read. Not only did it give me the recipe to some of my favourite cocktails but it also gave me the history about where they originated from and how they got their names. I loved the illustrations in between each recipe as I found the humour was spot on and Mark Lynch (Illustrator) is a very talented individual! The layout of the book was simple but effective and small enough to be used as a guide on a night out.
If you're a seasoned drinker or a newbie, this book is definitely a winner! From old school recipes to new ones, from rum to virgin drinks, there's something in there for everyone.
Next time you're out and wondering what to drink, grab yourself a copy of "Cocktails and Mock-Tales" that will do the trick!
4 out 5 stars
