I Offered to read this book in return for an honest review on my blog.
Author: Caitlin Rain
Title: Blurred intentions: The Sins of Caroline Dodger (Book 2)
Publication date: 29/10/2015
Genre: Romance erotica
Caroline Dodger is a wedding planner assistant who is working hard to fulfil her lifelong dream of becoming a fully fledged wedding planner in her own right. However, she has another side to her "Crazy Caroline" that not everyone is aware of, not even her employer, the renowned Miss Lynda Grant. When "normal" Caroline has taken her medication, had a good rest and is focused she is just like everyone else but when she doesn't then "Crazy Caroline" makes sure all hell breaks loose around her!
On one of the biggest days of her career, Caroline gets verbally abused quite viciously by one of the company's top clients for failing to meet some of her specific requirements. To ensure justice is served, "Crazy Caroline" seeks revenge on the bride in one of the worst ways possible, but "normal" Caroline manages to regain her senses just in time to save the wedding from being a complete disaster whilst earning the bride's utmost respect!
As the wedding finishes and Caroline is in the process of being praised for her continued good efforts by Miss Grant, her Parole Officer, Paul Reynolds arrives to find out why she has missed a recent parole meeting. Caroline is distraught at Paul's timing especially in front of her boss and agrees to accompany him somewhere private to continue the discussion. When Paul makes a lewid suggestion that will get Caroline off the hook but takes serious of advantage of her and his position, "Crazy Caroline" appears to ensure once again justice is served with horrific consequences!
Once again, this book had me entertained from start to finish! Another short story but long enough to understand the two sides of Caroline Dodger and her series of misfortunate events. I loved the humour and darkness of Caroline's alter-ego, "Crazy Caroline" and the consequences that her actions always ended in. Like her previous book, "Five Week Fiance", Caitlin's flow is smooth and consistent and has just the right amount of appeal to keep you hooked until the end.
There were one or two spelling mistakes in the story but these could definitely be overlooked due to the satisfaction I achieved from reading this book!
Another winner from Caitlin Rain and another definite recommendation to those interested in romance, humour with a bit of spice!!
5 out of 5 stars.
